Description

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) intends to negotiate a contract on a non-competive basis with Danka Office Imaging Company (Danka), 11201 Danka Circle North, St. Petersburg, FL, under the authority of Only One Responsible Source, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The OPM is seeking maintenance and repair of services for its Tosiba and Kodak document centers within the Center for Investigations Service, Boyers, PA. The Government intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to Danka based on their proprietary rights to service Toshiba and Kodak copier machines in the Boyers area. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acqisition Procedres (SAP) using FAR Part 12. Interested firms may submit their capablities and qualifications to perform the required services in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m., July 01, 2003. Such capabilities/qulifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of the Government.
