- a. This is a MODIFICATION to the synspsis-solicitation which provides: 1) Responses to vendor submitted questions; 2) High site latitude, longitude, and elevations; 3) revisions to site quantities. b. QUESTIONS SUBMITTED: There were two questions submitted in response to the solicitation, they are: 1) What is the total weight of the pickle barrel full of propane? 2) What are the total gallons of propane in the "pickle barrel"? ANSWER: The government does not provide either the pickle barrel or the propane. It is up to the offeror to determine what is the industry standard for weight, size and quantity of a ?pickle barrel? empty or full. c. SITE COORDINATES: There has been a request for the latitude, longitude, and elevation of the seven sites. This information has been up-loaded to, and can be found on a secure web-site: www.fedteds.gov . Vendors must register to download material from the FedTeDS website. In order to register for FedTeDS, a vendor must have the following information: ? Your Company's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) (You can get this from your Company's CCR Point of Contact ). ? Your Company's DUNS Number or CAGE Code. ? Your Telephone Number. ? Your E-Mail Address. Note: If you want to see the coordinates, you will have to register to do so. d. REVISION TO PROPANE QUANTITIES: The total quantities for propane have not changed, although the specific quantities for the various mountain top location have. The following is a revision to the site quantities, all offers should be based on this new revision. 1. CONTRACT LINE ITEM NUMBER (CLIN): 0001 Propane refueling-Seven sites; Total Quantity 8,100 gallons. a. Bede Mtn. 1,400 gallons; b. Cape Gull 1,400 gallons; c. Mormot Island 800 gallons; d. Raspberry Island 900 gallons; e. Sitkinak Island 900 gallons; f. Tuklung Mtn. 1,500 gallons; g. Rugged Island 1,200 gallons. e. Offerors are required to provide an e-mail acknowledgement to: to the Contracting Officer that they have reviewed this modification and understand the requirement. FAILURE OF ACKNOWLEDGENT MAY RESULT IN REJECTION OF YOUR OFFER f. Offerors may request a copy of the Representations and Certifications by e-mail, use the same address in paragraph c. above. A copy will be provided by the Contracting Officer via e-mail as an Adobe file attachment. g. This modification also corrects the Offer are due statement following the listing of clauses to read, Offers are due on July 1, 2003, 1 P.M. California Pacific Standard Day Light Savings Time.
