- General Notice: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F13TAX31360100 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document, incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-07. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business; NAICS: 333315; Size Std: 500 Employees. All responsible parties capable of providing the requirements below must submit a written price quote to include discount terms, cage code, and firm evidence of their ability to perform. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. To register, you may apply through the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Quotes are to be received by this office NLT 1400 CST on 30 June 2003. Quotes can be faxed, or e-mailed to the points of contacts listed on this notice. Contract Line Items (CLINs): AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION: CLIN 0001 - Little Rock Air Force Base requires the installation of audio/visual systems in seven rooms in Bldg 269 Canon Drive. Work will entail the design, acquisition, and installation of all required equipment to provide a state of the art presentation system. The MAIN BRIEFING ROOM will have Lighting Control, Projection Screen Interface, Data/Video Projection Systems, Remote Control System, Video and Computer Distribution System, Lectern, Audio System, Lectern Microphones, Wireless Microphone, Visual Presenter, Rack Mounting and Power Distribution, and Video-Teleconferencing. The OPERATIONS DESK will have Retrocabinets, Control System, Data/Video Projectors, S-VHS Videotape Player, DVD/CD Player, Audio System, and Equipment Enclosure. The COMMANDER?S CONFERENCE ROOM will have Smartboard, Data/Video Projection Systems, Video-Teleconferencing, Audio System, S-VHS Videotape player, DVD/CD Player, Equipment Enclosure. The MAINTENANCE CONFERENCE ROOM will have Smartboard, Data/Video Projection Systems, Video-Teleconferencing, Audio System, S-VHS Videotape Player, DVD/CD Player, and Equipment Enclosure. The MISSION PLANNING ROOM will have Plasma Panel. The READY ROOM will have Plasma Panel. The LOUNGE will have LCD Monitor. Work under this contract includes all labor, materials, tools, transportation, services, supervision, and coordination necessary to complete the installation of all audio/visual equipment, as described in the specifications and drawings. The Statement of Work and Associated Drawings will be available upon request. A site visit for this project is required, and must be accomplished before the ?NO LATER THAN DATE? stated above. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government. Price and other factors will be considered. The Government reserves the right to evaluate technical compliance/delivery capability and make a best value decision. This could result in award to other than the lowest price offer. Award will be made to the lowest price offeror best demonstrating the ability to satisfy the technical capabilities of the items specified. ** NOTE: Award of this purchase order is contingent upon availability of funds.
