- Description
- The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Simunition Ltd., A Division of SNC TEC, Quebec, Canada, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) (ii). This action is for the manufacture and delivery of 4,110,000 cartridges of 7.62 mm Ball and Tracer, Short Range Training Ammunition for use in the M60 and M240 Machine Guns. There are also potential 5 options for total quantities of 3,280,000 SRTA cartridges. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. See Note 22.
