Description

The principal components of the Request For Quote to be performed include: furnish and deliver f.o.b. Destination, 620 feet of log/debris barrier boom for Marine Barrier. Booms/Barrier and Gate shall have the salient features and shall be designed for these conditions: a) Skin: 5052 Marine Aluminum; b) Ends: 0.250 Inches 5052 Marine Aluminum, Double Welded; c) Boom Attaching Brackets: 6061 Structural Aluminum; d) Foam Filling: At least 2 pounds density Coast Guard Approved Polyurethane; e) Ballast Weight: 6061 Structural Aluminum; f) Reflective Warning Tape Is Required On Each Boom and Gate; g) Shall not rust, waterlog or sink; h) Floats must be high visibility barriers; i) Booms will not roll; j) Must be designed to withstand severe weather conditions. Attaching Hardware: Quote shall include all hardware to connect all booms into one length: a) Attaching Hardware, Chain: Stainless Steel; b) Dampening Weights. Contractor must make arrangements for delivery at least 8 hours prior to delivery of finished product. Delivery can be made Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by contacting Max Spiker, at (970) 586-4151. The facilities are located approximately 30 miles west of Loveland, in Estes Part, Colorado, Larimer County. Request for Quotation packages are anticipated to be available on July 11, 2003. Quotes are due on or before August 1, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau or Feclamation. Prospective quoters desiring to visit the site should contact Max Spiker, Powerplant Supervisor II, at (970) 586-4151. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 441222. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 5551. Requests for the Request for Quotations (RFQ) should be faxed to the attention of Hart Black Eagle or Beverly Beckman at (406) 247-7798. All requests should include the name of the business, street address, fax and telephone numbers, Dun and Bradstreet Numbers and Federal Tax Identification Numbers.
