- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment Washington, has a requirement for the Judge Advocate Generals Office to procure accommodations and conference services for its Annual National JAG Conference. The conference date is 16 September 2003 through 19 September 2003 with check-in rooms being available beginning 15 September 2003. These services shall include but are not limited to the following: (1) Lodging; Twenty Single occupancy rooms and Eighty-five double occupancy rooms for a total of One Hundred and Five (105) rooms within the government?s authorized travel lodging rate; conference and lodging shall be at the same location. (2) Lodging package includes, sleeping accommodations, dinner on the night of arrival or after hours night lunch, breakfast the next morning for each night of lodging, full use of recreational facilities (pool, gym, game room) and laundry, free parking, free shuttle service from MITAGS to airport or train station, free local and 800 phone calls for up to 30 minutes per call.(3) Use of a meeting room capable of seating a total conference population of three hundred (300) for (3) days and an auditorium population of (210) for (1) day. plus two breakout rooms. Meeting room package includes AM/PM breaks and lunch. Dedicated general session room and standard audio-visual equipment allocations (podium, microphone, board, (2) flip charts, VCR and monitor, overhead projector, pencils, notepads. (4) Close proximity (approximately five miles to/from Baltimore Washington Airport) (5) Shuttle service readily available on a daily basis for airport and travel within local commuting area (approximately 20 mile radius). This is a commercial item procurement. FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5 procedures will be used for this requirement. The requirement is unrestricted, full and open competition. The FSC Code is V231 and the NAICS Code is 721110. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price contract.
