Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Pinnacle, Inc. to modify MOREPlus Catalog Server software. The DISA Applications Engineering Directorate, the Configuration Management Branch is responsible for the development/integration and fielding of the Defense Information Infrastructure (DII) Asset Distribution System (DADS). DADS is utilized by DISA and other Department of Defense (DOD) Services and Agencies for the worldwide distribution of Common Operating Environment (COE) and Global Command and Control System (GCCS) segments. Pinnacle's MOREPlus catalog server is the core component of the DADS architecture. The DADS was integrated around the MOREPlus Catalog Server. As additional components are integrated into the architecture there is a requirement to obtain engineering services to modify the MOREPlus software. The MOREPlus Catalog Server Software is the intellectual property of Pinnacle, Inc. DISA is requesting a base year and four 12-month option periods of contractor engineering services to modify the MOREPlus Catalog Server Software. The Government intends to acquire this service using FAR Part 12. This solicitation is for notification of intent to award a sole source contract and does not constitute a request for proposal (RFP). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes. No award will be made on the basis of any responses to this advertisement. No solicitation will be forthcoming. No telephonic responses will be accepted. No additional synopsis will be issued.
