Description

Proposals will be solicited for services for which the Government intends negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. The action will result in a combination Firm-Fixed-Price/Cost-Reimbursable/Time & Material type Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on which Task Orders will be issued for Type 1 Special Training services supporting Foreign Military Sales(FMS)customers on the Boeing C-17 aircraft. The basic contract will start 1 Jan 04 and will include 9 one year options. Training capability must support all model C-17 aircraft for aircrew, operator and maintenance training. Training will be conducted both in CONUS and overseas locations. Requirements may be conducted in multiple foreign locations simultaneously. Contract will include firm-fixed-price, cost reimbursable, and time & material line items. Training will include academic and OJT/Operational, Type 1 Maintenance, and student support requirements for all specialties including, but not limited to the following: pilot/loadmaster (aircrew) ground school, flying training, flight weapon system trainer, air refueling, airdrop, aero-med, firefighter/rescue, night vision goggles (NVG), engine run, aerial port, instructor, engineering and Type 1 Factory Maintenance instruction. Please NOTE that Contractor may also be responsible for housing and transportation of students during CONUS training. Technical data is not available and cannot be obtained. Award is anticipated by 30 Oct 03.
