Description

NA The U.S. Army RMAC Natick Contracting Division located in Natick, MA 01760-5011 intends to award a purchase order to Aerovironmment Incorporated, 825 Myrtle Avenue, Monrovia, CA 91016 on a basis of other than full and open competition under the authority o f FAR Subpart 6.302-1; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, for a two (2) month service order for repair of sixteen (16) Pointer UAVS and three (3) GCUS which are government owned and in immediate need of service. Aerovironment is the sole manufacturer/distributor of the Pointer UAV/GCU and is determined to be the only source that is immediately available and capable of providing the services required by the government. No quotation document is av ailable for this acquisition. Inquiries shall be made no later than 1530 hours on Thursday, 19 June 2003 to the point of contact shown in this notice. Reference note 22; as this is a simplified acquisition IAW FAR Part 13, all responses shall be received within seven (7) days after publication of this notice.
