Description

SYNOPSIS This solicitation is for the removal and installation of an exhaust duct system. Remove existing exhaust system up to the exhaust blowers and dispose of old ducts. Blowers will remain in place. Install new exhaust system using spiral ducting to replace existing ducting. Install nine (9) new exhaust drops with 8? diameter, 600 silicon flex hose with stainless steel tail pipe adapters and cutoffs installed. The project is in building 7262 on Ellsworth AFB, SD. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and transportation to accomplish this project. This action is open to both large and small business under FAR 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and a single award will be made based on lowest price. This is an Internet solicitation; documents will not be available via other means. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220, duct work and sheet metal construction. The size standard is $12,000,000.00. The magnitude of this project is from $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. Performance time will be 60 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed. A pre-proposal conference and site visit is tentatively scheduled for 9 July 2003 at the 28th Contracting Squadron, 1000 Ellsworth Street, Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota beginning at 09:00 a.m. local time.
