Description

THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. AWARD CAN ONLY BE MADE TO FIRMS LICENSED AND AUTHORIZED TO PERFORM WORK IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS ARE INVITED TO DOWNLOAD INFORMATION CONCERNING THIS PROJECT. Project No. LXEZ 98-1377, Maintenance and Repair of Base Library, Bldg 451, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. Work shall consist of, but not limited to providing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation and performing all work necessary for removal of fuel storage tank, concrete dike and associated accessories, renovation of toilets, replacement of ceiling, plumbing fixtures and associated piping, interior and exterior painting, roof coating, provision of countertop, kitchen sink in the break room, telephone/computer outlets, power receptacles and associated panel board/wiring for computers, replacement of air conditioning system, ventilation system and lighting fixtures, modification of existing fire alarm system, disposal of asbestos containing materials and lead base paint and incidental related work. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract specifications and drawings subject to the terms and conditions of the contract.
