Description

THIS IS AN INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN AN INDUSTY DAY, TO BE HELD ON 23 JUN 03 (Monday), 0900HOURS, AT TAIYO RECREATION CENTER (BLDG 3260), YOKOTA AIR BASE, JAPAN. 374th Contracting Squadron/LGCB is contemplating awarding and administering a fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements ("SABER") contract. A SABER contract includes a collection of detailed task specifications that encompass most types of real property maintenance, repair, and construction work. The contract period will be basic year plus four (4) option years, total of five (5) years. Projected guaranteed minimum amount per year is $100K and maximum amount for the entire life of the contract is $25million. Purpose of the Industry Day is to enhance prospective offerors' understanding of SABER contract, promote their interests, and most importantly for the Government to explore market trends.
