Description
NA CONTACT: Robert A. Massaro, Contract Specialist, (732) 532-2766. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the AS-3900A/VRC Antenna(NSN 5985-01-308-8988). The AS-3900A Antenna is a nine-foot bi-pole antenna consisting of an upper element(NS N 5985-01-306-4622), a lower element(NSN 5985-01-306-8110), and a base subassembly(NSN 5985-01-353-8696). The antenna operates over the 30-88 MHz range and has a frequency hopping capability and has a range capability of approximately 22 miles. Our acqui sition plan is for a Competitive,5 year, Best Value, ID/IQ contract. The U. S. Army has a requirement for a Min/Max quanity of the upper element, lower element, and the complete antenna of 3000/10,000 per year; and a Min/Max quantity of the base subassemb ly of 1000/5000 per year over 5 years. The supplier must make initial deliveries of 800 each of the upper and lower element, 100 each of the base subassembly, and 500 each of the complete antenna within 180 daysarter contract award and the same quanties ea ch month thereafter. These assemblies shall be equivalent in terms of Form, Fit, and Function, and interchangeable with the existing subassemblies of the current AS-3900A/VRC design.
