Description

This solicitation is for all labor, management, supervision and equipment required for the provision and installation of a new smoke detector and fire alarm system compatible with the current system for building 484, Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT. The work includes the removal of existing detectors, horns, wiring and sensors and the replacement thereof. NAICS: 561621 Security System Services (except locksmiths). Small Business Size Standard: $10.5 million. Estimated Price Range: $100,000 - $250,000. This solicitation will be issued unrestricted and subject to FAR 52.219-4 Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HubZone Small Business Concerns The "Issue Date" and "Bid/Due Date" stated in this notice are estimated dates. The approximate solicitation release date is 01 July 2003 and will only be available in the Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) electronic file format which can be downloaded from the official website at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The free Acrobat Reader required to view .pdf files can be downloaded from the Adobe website. Only those contractors registered in ESOL, will be notified by e-mail upon availability of the solicitation and any amendments for download. The official Planholders List will be maintained on-line and can be printed from the web site. Contractors are required to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in CCR may render an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts.
