Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The NAICS code is 72110 with a small business size standard of $6 million in annual sales. Responsible sources that are interested in this procurement may respond by providing clear and convincing information that identifies their capabilities. Offers are to be completed and delivered via e-mail to mccoysn@nima.mil or via fax (301) 227-2536 by COB 30 June 2003. Please contact Sarika McCoy to verify receipt of facsimile. Offerors agree to hold prices firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-13 and Defense FAR Supplement 200011213. The following FAR sites apply to this acquisition; FAR 52.212.1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (SEP 1999), FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (MAR 1999), FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (FEB 2000), including 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, and 52.232-33 are applicable to this procurement and can be found at www.ARNet.gov/far. The following additional terms and conditions apply to this solicitation: DFAR 252.204-7000 Disclosure of Information; 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration; NI5X52.227-9000 Unauthorized use of NIMA name, seal and initials. Offerors are required to submit completed representations and certifications at FAR52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (FEB 2000) and submit with offers. Offerors will be evaluated based on ability to provide services that meet the Government requirements, price and past performance. The requirement is for a full service conference facility to support offsite for, for the dates of September 16, 2003 until September 19, 2003. It is estimated that there will be a need to accommodate 53 people with 52 of them requiring overnight stays. Three meals with refreshments during conference hours should be included in the proposal. Participants may arrive Tuesday evening (allowing for one meal) and leave no later than Friday afternoon (allowing for lunch without snacks). The facility must include a general session conference room that can accommodate classified discussion, breakout rooms, conference business service support, (i.e. copier access and fax access), on-site conference coordinator, on-site lodging (single occupancy rooms with private bath), food service (3 meals per day and morning and afternoon beverages and snacks), and an after conference hours indoor and outdoor recreational activities (i.e. game rooms, swimming pool(s), exercise rooms), and on-site audio-visual equipment and supplies (conference room should have table an chairs for all, paper and pens for all, overhead projector, screen, phone line (for internet modem access), computer projector, microphone speaker area/table and in each breakout room at least a few chairs and tables with a phone line for internet modem access, a screen, an easel with paper and a whiteboard (dry erase) with pens. The site must be located no closer than 30 miles and no further than 120 miles from Bethesda, MD. Please provide at least 3 other references for similar type of events.
