Description

SYNOPSIS: Contractor to furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the roof repair project which includes removing built-up gravel roof system, rigid board insulation, and abate areas from Asbestos Containing Material as indicated in the specifications. In addition, remove all prefab curbs, fans and any rooftop equipment; reinstall as indicated as the work progresses. Furnish and install built-up roof system to match existing adjacent areas designated to remain, provide rigid board insulation, new metal flashing, new cant strip, new roof top air conditioner, new equipment curbs pitch pan, and wood blocking as specified herein and as indicated on drawings. The project is located at the U.S.C.G. Vessel Support Facility, NESU Charleston. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) Code is 238160. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipt of $12.0 million. Estimated construction price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. Performance period is one hundred (100) calendar days. Bid Opening Date is 31 July 2003 at 2:00 P.M. ET.
