Description

Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, and supervision to Re-Skin two greenhouses at the USDA, ARS, Southern Crops Agriculture Research Center, College Station, Texas. The work includes, but is not limited to site removal of existing corrigated polycarbonate sheeting and replacing it with new polycarbonate wall sheeting. The project will have a base bid and three add-alternates (the Government reserves the right to choose which, if any, add-alternates will be added). The contractor will provide all materials, labor, and cleanup to provide a professional job. To request plans and specifications, mail your request on company letterhead and to the USDA, ARS, SPA, 7607 Eastmark Drive, Suite 230, College Station, TX 77840. Plans and specifications may also be picked up in person at the same address. All requests must reference IFB # 07-7MN1-2003 and contact persons name listed above. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. The period of performance is 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The anticipated IFB issue date is July 3, 2003, with opening date August 5, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Tentative Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for August 17, 2003, 10:00 am at the construction site.
