Description

NA The requirement consists of providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to provide and deliver liquid propane gas (LPG) to approximately 176 individual sites on Fort Drum, NY, and three ARMY Communities (off post sites) located in the NY towns of Clayton, Copenhagen and Philadelphia (approximately 84 individual delivery points). The total annual, estimated, LPG usage amount is approximately 689,269 gallons. The contractor will be required to provide tanks, regulators/me ters and system hookups for the on-post sites only. The contract type will be a firm fixed priced requirements contract with an economic price adjustment. The total anticipated performance period of the contract will be 4 years, 9 months, (base period an d 4 option periods). This Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 454312. This procurement will be awarded using the simplified acquisition procedures outlined in FAR part 13 .5 ??????Test Program for Certain Commercial Items?????? and the commercial procedures of FAR Part 12. The RFQ is expected to be published on or about 1 July 2003. The DUE DATE for the RFQ shall be 20 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum?????? s Web Page. Only contractors registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will be considered for contract award. All sources wishing to submit a RFQ are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the RFQ. Fai lure to respond to any amendments may render the RFQ as non-responsive and thereby rejected.
