Description

NA 17. THIS IS SYNOPSIS. EACH 1, PRON: 9M3KAA34AXAX Upgrade one (1 EA) Composite Armament Trainer (CAT) to install the latest CFITS configuration as basic effort. The contract will further contain an option to upgrade one (1 EA) Composite Electrical Tra iner (CET) to install the latest CFITS configuration in FY04. The contract will also contain an option to upgrade one Avionics Electrical Trainer (AET) to install the latest CFITS configuration and provide the CAT functionality to the AET during FY05. Quo tes should be submitted to commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Acquisition Center, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280, (AMSAM-AC-AV-K, Betty L. Walker or Hanford G. Jones reference DAAH23-03-R-0421. The nature of the contractual action will be firm-fixed price (FFP) type. The Authority and Justification for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (1). FAR 6.302-1, entitled only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Bell Helic opter Textron, Inc. (BHTI), is the only known source capable of providing the latest technical data and resolve technical problems incident to operation and maintenance of the aircraft as it is the only source that has access to all current data to include proprietary data. BHTI is the designer and sole manufacture of the OH-58D aircraft. See Number Note(s): 9. All responsible sources may be submit an offer which will be considered.
