THIS PROJECT IS ADVERTISED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. THIS PROJECT IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), PERF ORMANCE PRICE TRADE OFF (PPTO) SOLICITATION. In general, work will consist of the following: Provide an Air Traffic Control Tower and Crash Fire Station. The work will include concrete foundations and floor slabs, masonry walls, stucco exteriors, pre-cas t panels (ATC only), metal roof systems, fire detection and suppression, HVAC, elevator (ATC only), emergency power, utilities, parking, site improvements, O&M manuals, and other support. Work also includes demolition of existing control tower and anti-te rrorism/force protection physical security in compliance with DOD minimum construction standards. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220. Bid documents should be available on or about 10 July 2003. Cont racting Officer for this project will be Mr. Ed Slana.
