Description

The Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS) Pacific Procurement Division located in Okinawa Japan is issuing a request for information (RFI) seeking sources of qualified Journalists qualified in editing both school yearbook and school newspaper. The sources being sought are for Journalism Conferences being planned for October or November 2003 timeframe. Conference duration: 3 to 4 days. Scheduled location; Toyo, Japan. Exact time and location will be available at time of award. The offeror shall be able to provide journalistic skills to express their opinions editorials in school newspaper articles and the annual yearbook. Writing consist of leads captions to headlines, photography, layout and design, management, staff organization, technology, legal and ethical aspects, career and other associated areas. Qualified source specialist shall be capable of ascertaining and analyzing publications submitted by the schools. Interested/qualified sources must be registered and provide their Central Contract Registration. Registration information for CCR is located at the following web site; http://www.ccr.gov/.
