Description

This is a modification to the Pre-Solicitation Notice posted on 10 May 2003. The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic (MLCLANT), Norfolk, VA is procuring AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION MAINTENANCE, REPAIR and REPLACEMENT SERVICES to be performed at the U.S. Coast Guard GROUP KEY WEST, KEY WEST, FL. The solicitation was issued on 15 May 2003. The Base Year of performance is changed from 1 June 2003 through 31 May 2004 to 1 July 2003 through 30 June 2004 with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government, for total contract duration not to exceed 5 years. This requirement is set-aside 100% for Small Business Concerns only in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5. The applicable NAICS code is 333415 with a size standard of 750 employees (Please note this is a correction from the two previous sources sought notices). For the calculation of annual receipts and number of employees see parts 121.104 and 121.106 in SBA?s Small Business Size Regulations, http://www.sba.gov/regulations/121/. Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet at www.ccr2000.com or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number DTCG84-03-Q-AA7032. The solicitation and Amendment A001 (issued 17 June 2003) is available electronically on the MLCLANT Web site http://www.uscg.mil/mlclant/fdiv/fdiv.html with a closing date for receipt of quotes on 23 June 2003. No paper copies of the solicitation and/or amendments will be distributed. All vendors will be responsible for obtaining the solicitation and any subsequent amendments from that site.
