- Description
- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial item: One 7 X 14 ft Utility Trailer (Blue in color). Trailer must include the following: One pintle hook assembly. One side door located on the forward portion of the right side. One ramp door located in the back. An extended drawbar to support a 6 KW generator. A 6 KW water cooled super quiet generator mounted on top of the tongue. One spare tire mount, to be mounted either on the bottom of the tongue, below the generator, or on the outer forward wall, above the generator. One spare tire mounted on the spare tire mount. A 12 ft roll up awning to be installed on outer rear portion of left side. Two 4 Plex Exterior Receptacles, one mounted flush with outer rear portion of left wall, and one mounted flush with the outer rear portion of right wall. One 50 Amp service panel with 25 ft shoreline mounted on the inside forward wall. One 15000 BTU AC/W 5600 Heat Strip mounted inside to the center of the ceiling and wired to be plugged into the exterior generator. Three 4 ft fluorescent fixtures with diffuser mounted on the ceiling equally spaced and centered down the center of the ceiling. One 1200 series wall switch to control the three 4 ft fluorescent fixtures, mounted on the inside wall to the immediate right of the side door while looking from the inside to the outside. Two 12 volt dome lights mounted on upper part of inside wall directly right of side door while looking from inside to outside. One 12 Volt switch that operates the two 12 volt dome lights, mounted immediately to the right of the 1200 series wall switch. Five 4 Plex 1200 Wall Receptacles to be mounted as follows: three on the inside forward wall equally spaced from left wall to the right wall approximately 4 ft up from the floor, one on the rear portion of the inside left wall approximately 4 ft up from the floor, and one on the rear portion of the inside right wall approximately 4 ft up from the floor. 15/8 fiberglass sidewall insulation throughout entire trailer. ? Luan ceiling liner and insulation throughout entire ceiling. Line and insulate both end caps. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F2EOD131552200. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 33624 size standard of 500 applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination for delivery to Msgt Santoro at Bldg 7360, Lackland AFB TX 78236. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-42, Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires 52.222-48.
