- Description
- This is a firm fixed price type contract for Cylinder blocks applicable to the MAU-12. The dimensions for both the following NSNs are 10?W, 6?D, 7?H; material: Forged steel ? heat treated to 180K to 200K ? Cadmium Plated; function: Gas operated ? used to eject munitions. The first articles are due 180 days after contract award. The required delivery for the production option is to be determined. The approximate solicitation date will be 7 July 2003, with a quotation due date of 13 August 2003. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Solicitation will be posted at website http://www.fedbizopps.gov. NSN: 1095-00-135-1831, P/N: 60H46522-401, 2 1st Articles (1ea included in production; 1 ea destructive test). Basic production option is for a total of 44ea (including 1st articles), with two outyear options of 1-15 each. NSN: 1095-00-135-1832, P/N: 60H46522-402, 2 1st Articles (1 included in production; 1 each destructive test). Basic production option is for a total of 25ea (including 1st articles), with two outyear options of 1-15 each. This acquisition may/does involve technology that has a military or space application. The only US contractors who may participate are those that are certified and registered with DLSC (1-800-352-3572) and have a legitimate business purpose.
