Description
NA NOTE: Any prospective bidder/offeror interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this solicitation must register on our website at http://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil/ Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the i nternet after solicitation issuance. Description of Work: Renovate the old Womack Army Medical Center, floors two through four, for use as administration space and construction of a new 10,000 SF warehouse addition. Renovation includes interior demolitio n including asbestos abatement; upgrade/replacement of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system; fire sprinkler system; fire alarm system; elevators; plumbing; information systems; lighting and interior finishes. The project will be soli cited and procured using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with FAR Part 15.101-1. The contractor is required to submit a price and technical proposal. Each proposal shall contain the offeror's best tec hnical proposal and best price. The technical proposal will be evaluated utilizing the factors set forth below. Factor 1-1: Offeror Past Performance, Factor 1-2: Offeror Relevant Specialized Experience. Proposals shall include sufficient detailed infor mation to allow complete evaluation. Offerors are reminded that while the Government may elect to consider data obtained from other sources, the burden of proof of acceptability rests with the offeror. Estimated Cost Range is from $5,000,000 to $10,000,00 0. Network Analysis System will be required. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will also be available on or about July 3, 2003, on the internet at https://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil/ This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 (Public Law 100-656). No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided.
