Description
SITE VISIT. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is extending the opportunity to all interested and qualified contractors to attend a site visit tour of the new Tour Facility and Visitor Center located in Fort Worth, Texas on Tuesday, July 9, 2003, between the hours of 8:30 am (central time) and noon. The contractors will attend a brief Draft RFP and Performance Work Statement (PWS) review session that will be followed by a site visit tour and follow-up question and answer session. All attendees are requested to downloaded the Draft RFP package and bring it with them. Additional copies may not be available. The entire site visit tour will conclude not later than noon (local time). Contractors are encouraged to have reviewed the Draft RFP prior to the site visit and have questions ready. The PWS review session and site visit tour are intended to allow offerors the opportunity to enhance their overall understanding of the scope and magnitude of the work for the BEP Tour Facility and Visitor Center in Fort Worth. The question and answer session will be limited to the work described in the PWS, RFP and observations made during the site visit tour. The tour will be conducted at the BEP, located at 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76131. Contractors will be limited to only two (2) company representatives. For security purposes, the contractors must forward the following information to Ms. Carol L. Riggs at carol.riggs@bep.treas.gov no-later-than 12:00 noon on July 7, 2003, in order to allow for processing by security: (1) name and drivers license number for each individual, and (2) company name and address with phone number. Contractors will be required to provide a State-issued photo identification for final admission into the Bureau. As a result of heightened security, no substitutions will be allowed after the 7th of July. All contractors are required to show up at least 30 minutes before the site visit begins in order for processing to occur smoothly. Upon arrival, all contractors will obtain Visitor badges and be escorted to a meeting room to begin the site visit. No cameras or recording devices will be permitted on the premises. The BEP encourages feedback as a result of the Draft statement of work review session and site visit. The final solicitation will be issued on or about the last week of July 2003, electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Website at www.eps.gov. Firms may fax or e-mail their information on company letterhead to (202) 874-2200 or Robert.Knauer@bep.treas.gov. Phone requests will not be honored.
