- NAICS Code: 541511 SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR ENTERPRISE APPLICATION INTEGRATION The Environmental Protection Agency?s (EPA) Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) is conducting a market survey through this FedBizOpps notification to identify GSA Schedule companies that have the capability to provide information technology expertise to assist EPA in the enterprise-wide implementation of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) software, IBM?s WebSphere Business Integration (WBI) tool. EPA seeks to deploy the WBI software in making improvements to its workflow processes and system interfaces. EPA is also interested in acquiring information technology expertise to assist EPA in the design and implementation of data warehouse and data marts to address the full spectrum of EPA?s reporting and analysis needs from its administrative systems. Companies must have demonstrated experience in the following areas, which are key to this requirement: (1) Technical expertise in installing the EAI WBI tools and in using the tools to develop and maintain system interfaces. (2) Technical expertise in integrating the WBI tools across multiple IT platforms and in establishing workflow and business rules. (3) Technical expertise in addressing infrastructure, security, quality assurance, and relevant technical requirements for a successful installation of the WBI software. (4) Technical expertise in establishing, maintaining and upgrading a computer facility to support the processing requirements for the WBI tools. (5) Technical expertise in addressing system performance requirements. (6) Technical expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining data warehouse and data marts for administrative systems. (7) Experience in implementing and maintaining the Websphere tools and data warehouse/data marts for an organization of EPA?s size and complexity. If your company has the capability to provide these types of services, please submit a written capability statement. Capability Statements are limited to five (5) pages, and must specifically address the requirements listed above. Capability Statements should be e-mailed to Deborah Darry at darry.deborah@epa.gov by June 27, 2003. No feedback or evaluations or debriefings will be provided to companies regarding their individual submissions.
