Description

17(i). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and FAR 13.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 17(ii). The solicitation number, USZA92-03-T-0036, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). 17(iii). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04. 17(iv) This procurement is Set-Aside for Small Business. 17(v). The US government has a requirement for –1(One) DigiSuite INCITE STUDIO LE/MAX Workstation, components are as follows: DigiSuite LE/MAX bundle (DigiSuite, MAX, Premiere 6, Inscriber, BorisFX, Reel DVD), Matrox Break Out Boxes, Incite Studio 3.0 (Editor, Audio Plus, MAX, network capable), Windows 2000 or XP, (2)36 gig System Drives, Adaptec 39160 SCSI controller, Matrox G550 dual head video card, Dual P4 Xenon Motherboard, Dual 2.8 ghz processors, 1024 mb Ram, CDRW (24x10x40), Pioneer A-05 DVD-R or comparable DVD-R/RW, Floppy, Keyboard, Microsoft Intellimouse-optical, Mid-Tower Case, Power Supply, Card Cooler (2) Panaflo fans, Configuration and testing, Recovery CDs, Rosetta Stone RS-232 to 422 cable, (2)RGB cables, Cleaner XL, FX Bundle (Film FX, Boris RED), (2) 18” Flat Panel LCD monitors, (2) DVI cables, 1yr manufacturer’s parts warranty, Delivery, setup, 4hrs training, 60 days phone support/60 days labor warranty, JL Cooper MCS3800 control panel with jog/shuttle and 8 motorized audio faders, 1 day training as scheduled, 1 year support. Subsititue proposals will not be accepted. 17(vi). N/A. 17(vii). N/A. 17(viii). FAR provisions and/or clauses referenced will be furnished in full text upon receipt of written request or they are available at farsite.hill.af.mil. Solicitation Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000) is hereby incorporated by reference. 17(ix). Solicitation Provision FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation –Commercial Items (Jan 1999) is hereby incorporated, the evaluation factors are price, delivery. 17(x). Contractors are reminded to submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Alt 1, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Feb 2002) with their quote. 17(xi). Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items (Dec 2001) is hereby incorporated by reference!! 17(xii). Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items –Dev. (Apr 2001) is hereby incorporated by reference. 17(xiii). Additionally, the following clauses are applicable to this solicitation, 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items are applicable to this requirement and offerors shall include a completed copy of this requirement and offerors shall include a completed copy of the Representatations and Certifications with their bid, 52.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration . 17(xiv). The Defense priorities and Allocations Systems (DPAS) assigned rating for this procurement is unrated. 17(xv). NA. 17(xvi). Questions pertaining to the solicitation must be submitted in writing and may be faxed to Rowena Godaire at (910) 432-9345. Signed and dated quotes referencing the RFQ number USZA92-03-T-0036 must be submitted, no later than 1:30 p.m. 07 July 2003, to Rowena Godaire at USASOC, ATTN: AOCO, Fort Bragg, NC 28310 or may be faxed to (910)432-9345. 17(xvii).
