- Industry comment is sought by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service (FS) of the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure services at FS locations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. The intent of the request is to refine the draft PWS for future inclusion in an RFP. It is requested that industry carefully review the PWS and offer comments no later than 30 days from the date of this notice. Comments and responses resulting from industry review will be published prior to issuance of the RFP. PROPOSALS ARE NOT REQUESTED AT THIS TIME AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Offerors may submit their questions to the following internet address: Itpws_draft_comments@fs.fed.us. The final solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 04 August 2003. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this request for industry comment. In accordance with OMB-s revised circular A-76 dated May 29, 2003, the following Competition Officials are hereby named: Agency Tender Official (ATO) is Mr. Keith Jackson, and the Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Mr. Ted McPherson.
