- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a cost reimbursable contract to develop and deliver public health workforce preparedness tools. These tools include convert traditional print-based training courses to a distance learning method; develop web-based registration systems that will operate with current CDC web-based systems; provide nationally recognized certificate programs; provide instructional development services via distance learning methods, training opportunities, and coordinating logistics of training for state identified Distance Learning Coordinators and Focus Area G Coordinators (state identified individuals who are responsible for developing and promoting bioterrorist related education and training programs); and orchestrate the development and delivery of satellite broadcasts. The contemplated period of performance will be 12 months with two 12-month option periods. The solicitation will be posted electronically to this Federal Business Opportunity website (http://www.eps.gov) on or about June 20, 2003. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this solicitation is 611430. EMAIL is the preferred method for submitting inquiries. Offerors are requested to either put the questions directly in the body of the email or use MS WORD, if submitting an attachment.
