- Description
- Bureau of Land Management (BLM) requires seed procurement, storage, distribution logistics, and management analysis (SLA) for the Great Basin states (Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Oregon and California) to meet the increased demand for seed and decrease the timing delays for acquiring seed in Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation (ESR) of wildlands within that province. BLM currently has a Regional Seed Warehouse, seed warehouse manager, and a regional seed coordinator located in Boise, Idaho. An SLA is necessary to identify other needs, including potential city/state location(s) in the Great Basin that meet the most efficient and effective logistical seed distribution network of the BLM and other partners of the five states comprising the province. Performance Period is 120 Calendar days. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 10, 2003.
