Description
ALLIANCE TEXAS is a one-day training conference and trade show designed to provide an opportunity for small businesses to meet with representatives of purchasing agencies from the Department of Defense, Federal agencies and the State of Texas. Also exhibiting are large prime contractors who work with federal agencies and sub-contract with small business. This event offers a single, multi-agency networking and procurement training opportunity with and for small businesses. WHERE Arlington Convention Center, 1200 Ballpark Way, Arlington TX, 76011 HOURS 8:00 am to 4:00 pm MATCHMAKING MEETINGS Each attendee will have the opportunity to schedule a meeting with one of approximately 20 purchasing agencies that has agreed to participate in this program. This is one-on-one time with that agency for you to ask specific questions or discuss concerns or problems you are having. Closer to the event you will be sent a list of the participating agencies and given the opportunity to choose your top three choices. We will guarantee one meeting and more if space is available. ??E-SOURCE CENTER An area within the Exhibit Hall will be set aside for Hands-on demonstrations with internet-connected computers available. You can learn how to register on-line for federal and state procurement and search agency web sites for bid opportunities. ??REGISTRATION COST $85 per person ($110 after June 11th, $140 on-site), includes Exhibitor Directory, admission to all educational sessions, networking opportunities within the trade fair, continental breakfast and lunch and at least one scheduled 15-minute meeting with a purchasing agency. ??EXHIBITOR COST $250 Government Agency and Non-Profit Agencies, $500 Non-Government. Fee includes a 10?f x 10?f booth space and 8?f high back drape, 3?f side drape. It also includes one 6?f x 24?h covered table (8?f long if requested), two chairs, 2 luncheon tickets, a 7?h x 44?h identification sign, admission to all sessions for booth personnel and a copy of the exhibitor directory. Electrical and phone line charges are additional. Exhibitors will consist of Federal, State and Local purchasing departments, Prime Contractors and other Major Purchasers. Exhibitors will also include non-profit agencies that can help you with government contracting. Small businesses are encouraged to exhibit. You may register on-line at http://www.allianceforbiz.com.
