Description

INDEFINITE-DELIVERY, INDEFINITE-QUANTITY CONTRACT TO PERFORM REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL SERVICES. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, is seeking a qualified firm to perform real estate appraisal services. The work to be performed is primarily in the State of Michigan, however, work in other Region 3 states may be required. Work includes the preparation of complete appraisals, reported in summary or self-contained narrative format which meet the current requirements of the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions (UAS) and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), Standards Rule 2-2(a) or (b). Program activities include land exchanges, acquisition of lands in fee, various easement interests and partial takings. Fee appraisers will be required to appraise private, state, federal, or county lands offered in an exchange and private lands which the Service wishes to acquire. This proposed acquisition is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type contract for a base year and four additional years. The total of all task orders shall not exceed $1 million for all five years. A minimum of $5,000 in services in guaranteed for the contract. Award of this contract will be made by best value to the Government. This procurement is issued 100-percent set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 531320. The small business size standard is $1.5 million. A Request for Proposal package will be issued to interested parties and is expected to be available approximately July 11, 2003, with proposals due approximately August 12, 2003.
