Description: NA This will be a sole source award based upon an unsolicited proposal received. This proposal is in response to analysis of a multi-modal transportation corridor from Fairbanks, Alaska through to the major transportation systems in northwestern Canada. A eng ineering economic analysis of the multiple alternatives is to be prepared, which includes the following: methodology; type of team to be used; time-lines; review points and periods; presentation to USARAK; and a minimum of three proposed Tanana River cross ing methods. This project will allow the Army to have year-round access to crossings of the Tanana River and its tributaries, to enable the Army to reach the maneuverable portions of the Tanana Flats Training Areas at Fort Wainwright and Fort Greely, Alas ka.
