- This is notification to provide Architectural and Engineering Services for land survey project, Rim Fuel Mitigation Survey. Responses to this announcement will be considered for selection. Firms desiring consideration shall submit completed Standard Forms (SF) 254 and 255 for this project no later than July 10, 2003. Dependent resurvey including marking and posting of thirteen (13) miles of National Forest boundary and 10.25 miles of Bureau of Land Management boundary. Project location: T. 36 N., R. 112 W., Secs. 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 13 - 10.50 miles of BLM boundary to be posted and marked; T. 36 N., R.113 W., Secs. 4, 9, 16, 21, 28, 33 ? 6 miles of National Forest boundary to be posted and marked; T. 37 N., R.112 W., Secs. 31-36 ? 5.5 miles of National Forest boundary to be posted and marked; T. 37 N., R.111 W., Secs. 31, 32 ? 1.25 miles of National Forest boundary to be posted and marked. Estimated starting is July 28, 2003 with 90 calendar days for completion. Selection Criteria ? Firms responding will be evaluated on the following selection criteria: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory of required services; 2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; 3) Experience and qualifications of proposed hey personnel and the amount of time the Registered Professional will spend in the field on this project; 4) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; 5) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; 6) Location in the general geographic area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; 7) Surveying methodology and instrumentation proposed for use on this project; 8) Quality control methods, review, and accuracy checks to be used; 9) Acceptability under the following criteria (provide with SF-255): a) the name and specific qualifications and credentials of the person who will be assigned to supervise this project; b) a copy of that person?s most recent filed Wyoming Record of Survey Plat and Corner Perpetuation form, which is representative of survey work comparable to this project. The contractor must be a licensed land surveyor in the state in which the project is located. Project control requires direct supervision by a registered land surveyor. The project consists of a proper and legal cadastral survey, including the posting and marking of property lines. Survey will require retracement, dependent resurvey and section subdivision of original or prior Public Land Survey(s) of record to meet survey requirements and standards under Federal and Wyoming State law(s); 10) The volume of work previously awarded by the Forest Service will be evaluated with the objective of effecting an equitable distribution of the contracts among qualified A&E firms, including minority, 8(a), or small disadvantaged firms that have not had prior Forest Service contracts. The contract for Architectural and Engineering Services will be negotiated. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
