Description

The VISAR team has currently undertaken the task of creating a dedicated VISAR Diagnostic and Recording trailer. The trailer will include a complete VISAR package permanently located in the trailer. This package will include the associated lasers, interferometers, streak cameras, and all applicable control hardware. The prospective Visar trailer will be highly mobile in design in order to facilitate experiment support at a variety of different locales. This trailer will be refurbished to an ?as new? condition. Every effort will be made to ensure structural integrity is maintained. Where possible electrical systems will be added to rather than reconfigured. As always, all safety requirements will be implemented. One 10? x 40? trailer will be moved from the Nevada Test Site (NTS) Mercury, Nevada and staged at the sub-contractor?s facility. Subcontractor shall provide drawings that clearly outline modifications and dimensioned plans of finished layout. SOURCES SOUGHT. E-mail martine1@nv.doe.gov
