- Description
- Work consists of furnishing all parts, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services, and supervision necessary to repair of the timber roof trusses in US TRANSCOM Bldg 1961, Scott AFB, IL. The principal items of work shall include, but are not limited to, the following: The contractor shall 1. Install additional steel colums and concrete footing 2. Install steel channels around certain truss members 3. Inject epoxy at cracked, splices and connection truss members. 4. Inject epoxy at cracked timber colums and beams. 5. Reinforce broken timber colums with steel channels. 6. Replace missing connection angles and nuts. 7. Remove and replace existing drywall and paneling as required. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Price Performance Trade-Off (PPTO) solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 238130 and the size standard is $12,000,000.00. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon the ?Best Value? to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This acquisition is being considered for a HUBZone set-aside. If your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, you must provide the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than ten (10) days after the publication of this notice: (a) SBA Certification of HUBZone eligibility; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of recent, relevant experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with telephone numbers; (d) Your available bonding for this project. All the above must be submitted in sufficient detail within ten (10) days after the publication of this notice or the solicitation will be issued unrestricted pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The closing date and time for submission of proposals will be contained in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation, including the specifications and drawings, will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) website at http://www.eps.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 375th Contracting Squadron, Scott AFB IL. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Potential offerors MUST register at http://www.eps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. All contractors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database in order to receive an award.
