- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number is F61775-03-Q-1249 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12. This acquisition is unrestricted. The U.S. Air Force 48 Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm fixed price Purchase Order for: CLIN 0001: A Digital Photo System for Sports photographs, OR equivalent brand. Specifications are as follows THE SYSTEM TO INCLUDE: LAPTOP/NOTEBOOK C/W 2GHZ PROCESSOR OR BETTER, 256MB RAM, 40 GB HD, CDRW/DVD DRIVE, FLOPPY DRIVE, PCMCIA SLOT, 4 USB 2.0 PORTS, ADAPTEC 1480 CARDBUS SCSI ADAPTER AND 2 MTR CABLE SCSI-2 MALE TO FEMALE. CABLES USB 2 MTR X 2, USB EXTENDER CABLES FOR TETHERING DIGITAL CAMERA TO LAPTOP. EXPRESS DITITAL SPORT AND EVENT VERSION 8.0 SOFTWARE (FULL LVERSION) MITSUBISHI CP8000 PRINTER. MITSUBISHI CP3020DE PRINTER. FLIGHT CASES FOR TRANSPORTATION OF CP8000 AND C03020. BUILD AND CONFIGURE SYSTEM AND CASES. FUJI S2 CAMERA BODY. NIKON 35 -70 MM F2.8AFD LENS. NIKON 80-200MM F2.8 AFD LENS. FULL ON SITE TRAINING FOR 2 PEOPLE. The training must be onsite on RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom. QTY 1 EA. Delivery date for all items: 31 July 2003. Location is 48 SVS/SVRA, Building 906 Services Squadron, RAF Lakenheath United Kingdom IP27 9PN. Far provision at FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, applies to this requirement. If quote is for an ?equal? product, specifications of the item must be included in quotation. Far provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this RFQ with the following addenda: paragraphs (h) and (i) of this provision do not apply and change paragraph (c) from 30 calendar days to 60 calendar days. Far provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this RFQ with the following addenda: Paragraph (a) is filled in with (1) Price and (2) Technical Capability of the item to meet the Government needs; paragraph (b) does not apply.
