- Description
- NAICS Code: 541910 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Office of Transportation and Air Quality (OTAQ) Transportation and Regional Programs Division (TRPD) intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order to Allison-Fisher International (AFI), LLC of Southfield, MI. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain data from a Corporate Environmental Image Study focusing on the awareness of new vehicle buyers as to how major automotive corporations conduct environmental activities and which factors most influence consumer perceptions of corporate environmental performance. In addition, data will be provided from the Automotive Intentions and Purchases (AIP) Study, which outlines the demographic profile of 660,000 representative U.S. households each quarter regarding their intention to purchase new hybrid vehicles. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541910. It has been determined that because of the unique data provided that represents a sample size of 1,500 greater than other sampling segments for the AIP Study, AFI is the only vendor uniquely qualified to meet this requirement. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. However, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All question should be directed to Jami Rodgers via e-mail at rodgers.jami@epa.gov.
