- NASA/MSFC has a requirement for the following items: Line item 1: XT140-25D; Differential Transducer w/ "B" Screen, .03 ref tube, 2 mil RTV on the Diaphragm, operational at 300 degrees F. qty. 12 Line item 2: XT140-100D; Differential Transducer w/ "B" screen, .03 ref tube, 2 mil RTV on the Diaphragm, operational at 300 degrees F. qty. 12 NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from Kulite, Inc. for the procurement of dynamic pressure transducers. These transducers are to be used in both new and existing test hardward designed for test in MSFC Nozzle Test and Turbine Test Facilities. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to Iris Walter, Eagle Systems & Services via fax or email, 256-544-6062 or iris.walter@msfc.nasa.gov not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on July 11, 2003. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
