- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the following commercial item: 440 each Lithium Battery, North American Battery Company PN: BA-5588/U or equal. Items are required within 30 days ARO, and FOB destination is required. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on F10PGP31750200. This solicitation is issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. NAICS code: 335912, Size Standard is 1,000 employees. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. The following provisions apply: FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal; FAR 52-212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items- Evaluation factors will be based solely on price.
