Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites suppliers to quote (Request for Quotes Solicitation No. 501813Q014) on a requirement for 2000 gallons of Glypro or Rodeo herbicide to be delivered in 30 gallon drums. EPA Registration Number: Dow AgroSciences - 62719-324 for either product. No other products will be considered. All drums delivered must contain the same product. Supplier must furnish Materials Safety Data Sheet for product delivered. Delivery will be made shortly after August 15, 2003 to a site to be determined by the Government but located in or near Milton, Delaware. Shipment shall be FOB Destination. The estimated magnitude is $25,000 to $100,000. This procurement is set-aside for a small business. The NAICS code is 424910 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1 (Instruction to Offerors - Commercial), FAR clause 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items), and FAR 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items) apply to this acquisition. FAR 52-212-2 (Evaluation - Commercial Items) applies. Evaluation factors are: (i) item offered meets the Government requirements; (ii) price; (iii) past performance. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-05. All Quotes should be sent to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Attn: Carol Bloem, 300 Westgate Center Drive, Hadley, MA 01035 and should arrive before close of business on July 17, 2003. All offers shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 (offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; full text of solicitation provisions may be accessed electronically at http://www.arnet.gov/far) .
