Description
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared per the format in Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested from interest parties for the procurement of the following equipment: 3 each Belly Tank Electrically Driven Spray Systems for attachment to Hughes MD500D amd MD500E Helicopters for spraying operations. System to have STC approval SH7091 NM. System to consist of the following: 1. 120 gallon reinforced fiberglass tank with 27 ft. boom assembly, modular electrical 24 VDC electrical spray pump, 1-1/2 Inch boom valve; one electrically activated dump door and all mounting hardware. 2. Crating for air freight,. 3. Additional/Optional equipment: a. 4 ft. boom extensions, b. Nozzles (52 each), c. Crophawk 7B flow meter, and d. spares kit. 4. Installation Supervison and Training in Pretoria, South Africa. 5. Simplex Model 8500 or equal. The following Provisions and Clauses are incorporated into this RFQ by reference and are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. No addenda apply to these Provisions and Clauses. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-5, Contract Terms and conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; FAR 52.246-15, (APR 1984), Certificate of Conformance. No additional FAR clauses apply. The contractor will be required to ship directly to the end user in a protective container to the South African Police Air Wing via Air freight in Pretoria, South Africa. Packaging, packing, and preservation shall be in accordance with best commercial practices to enable shipment from CONUS to final destination without repacking or incurring damage during shipment and handling.
