- Description
- The contractor shall furnish the necessary qualified personnel, materials, supplies, facilities, and equipment to perform testing of rear impact guards to verify compliance with the requirements of FMVSS No. 223 and reporting of results. All testing is to be conducted in accordance with the Office of Vehicle Safety Compliance Laboratory Test Procedure for Rear Impact Guards, TP-223-00. It is contemplated that a Fixed Unit Price type contract will be award. The period of performance is twelve (12) months with four (4) option periods. NAICS Code for this contract is 541380. Electronic copies of the RFP and any other documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site or URL for the FedBizOpps page is www.fedbizoOpps.gov or the GSA Electronic Posting Service (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov. It is the Offeror?s responsibility to monitor the Internet sites for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential Offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Requests for paper copies of the IFB will not be accepted. Estimated date for release of solicitation is on or about July 14, 2003.
