Description

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Mt. Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEAC), Bluemont, VA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Antenna Technology Communications, Inc. (ATCI) for the purchase of their Model SIMUSAT 5 Multibeam Antenna (Series III, 70 degree View Arc) with the following system options, site engineer installation, foundation kit, feedbox bubble cover, dual polarized feed Assembly C-Band, 20˚ K C-Band PLL LNBs, 950-1750 MHZ +/- 10 khz, QuadraPort LNBF, C/Ku-band; Cable Junction Box; Electrical Heating System, and external half-reflector application. The item and service are commercial type, therefore it is anticipated that simplified acquisition procedures will be utilized in accordance with FAR 13.3 - Simplified Acquisition Methods. Purchase Order or credit card award will result from this requirement. The delivery date is 60 days. Interested persons may respond by identifying their capabilities to provide the required equipment and services. Responses shall be in writing and sent to the address identified above, ATTN: Mar?a L. Martin. Responses must be received no later than 10 calendar days from date of publication of this synopsis. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the date identified above will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
