- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to award a contract to provide solid waste removal and disposal services for the Federal Correctional Complex located at Old Highway 75, Butner, North Carolina. Estimated yearly contract requirements include: 1) Rental fee for five (5) 40 cubic yard self contained dumpster units with alarms to indicate when full, 2) Pull fees for self contained dumpster units at 208 Pulls/year/total, 3) Rental fee for three (3) 40 cubic yard open top roll off containers, 4) Pull fees for open top dumpster units at 156 Pulls/year/total, 5) Landfill charges for estimated 2600 tons per year. The base year will run for twelve consecutive months from the effective contract date with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. It is anticipated that this solicitation will result in a indefinite delivery requirements type contract with firm fixed price per pull fees and fixed monthly equipment rental fees. All services provided must be in accordance with applicable solid waste disposal codes and regulations. This will be set aside 100% for small business. Anticipated date of award is October 1, 2003. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111, with a small business size standard of $10.5 M. The solicitation will be made available on or about July 25, 2003. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered for award. Upon issuance, solicitation packages may be accessed electronically at this address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available as the site provides downloading instructions.
