Description

Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work in accordance with the drawings, specified herein, to fully complete the project titled Airfield Obstructions Mitigation, and make operational. Work included but not limited to removal of various airfield obstructions that occur within the primary surfaces around the main runway and in the clear zones at the north and south ends of the runway. Work includes replacement of pad mounted transformers with underground transformers and remounting power sectionalizing cabinets with breakaway bolts. Also includes grading and sodding as required. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the contract documents. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a ?straddle bid?. Funding is expected to be available for award in FY 03, or first quarter of FY04.
