- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service is seeking the services of a contractor to perform word processing services of developed technical course material. The course material shall be processed using Information Mapping software that uses the ?chunking? of information to transform the course material into a readable educational format. The material consists of approximately 28,000 pages, which will be available in electronic format containing handwritten edits on accompanying hardcopy. The contractor must be located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area in order to accommodate prompt turnaround time for materials. This is 100% set aside for small business, under simplified acquisition procedures. The acquisition is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ), solicitation document number TIRNO-03-Q-00115. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those set forth in FAR Part 13 shall be used. Period of performance shall be Date of Award ? October 31, 2003. All responsible sources that can provide the above requested services may download a written copy of the solicitation package as posted on FedBizOpps. The evaluation criteria are as follows;1) Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in: a) utilizing Information Mapping software: b) document editing, formatting, spell check, etc.) and 2) References, Bidders will supply a minimum of three references related to the evaluation criteria identified in Item 1. Award will be made to the responsible firm submitting the quote that conforms to the RFQ and is most advantageous to the government. All questions must be submitted in writing and received by 4:00 p.m. July 8, 2003 via facsimile at (202) 283-1511. All quotations must be received by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, July 17, 2003. All quotes may be sent by facsimile to (202) 283-1511 or by mail as referenced above. All quotations shall include price(s); FOB Point; a POC (name and telephone number); GSA contract number if applicable, business size and payment terms. All offerors submitting a response to the Request For Quote must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration
