Description

The General Services Administration is concerned by the limited interest demonstrated for this procurement from certified HUBZone small businesses. Per the solicitation, Section 00100, a site visit has been scheduled for 11:00 AM on July 2, 2003 at the James T. Foley Courthouse in Albany, NY. The agency will carefully consider the attendance of prospective HUBZone offerors as an indication of interest in this procurement. The set-aside will be reevaluated should the contracting officer determine that the government is unlikely to receive bids from two or more HUBZone certified firms with average annual gross receipts not more than $12M . Prospective offerors also are urged to carefully consider the allowable level of subcontracting for this procurement. No more than 75% of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel may be spent on employees from other than HUBZone small business concerns. Please immediately direct any additional questions to the points of contact listed below in order that this procurement may proceed in an orderly and efficient manner. The General Services Administration appreciates the interest already expressed and is committed to providing ample additional opportunity before altering the set-aside.
