Description

The USAID Regional Contracting Office in Budapest, Hungary intends to issue a DRAFT Scope of Work (SOW) to solicit comments and suggestions before issuing the final RFP for Croatia Local Government II Project. The Draft SOW will be issued immediately and deadline for written comments and suggestions in response to the DRAFT SOW is May 27, 2003 . The RFP is expected to be issued by mid of June 2003. The overall objective of the project is to address the development needs of the local government sector as Croatia undertakes reforms that are required for European Union membership. The project will also prepare Croatia as it graduates from the United States Government Assistance and begins its work with the European Union in the general area of public administration. This activity is a follow-on initiative to the pre-existing Croatia Local Government Reform Project I implemented by the Urban Institute. The period of performance is expected to be 44 months starting on or about January 2004. Organizations expressing interest in this contract competition should do so online by clicking on “Register as Interested Vendor” and filling in the Registration Form. Accordingly, there will not be a separate attachment to the RFP of a list of interested parties.
